Part of Humanity First USA

Students lead. Humanity First USA stands behind every chapter.

Humanity First USA is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to serving humanity and safeguarding human life and dignity. Since 2004 it has served more than 5.6 million people through its programs in disaster relief, food security, health, education, and clean water.

HFSD is its official student auxiliary. Every HFSO, mission, and program operates under Humanity First USA, and every gift a chapter raises is made through Humanity First USA to an approved program. When you join a chapter, you join Humanity First.

Every chapter, one school. Build the Masroor School.

Humanity First Student Organizations (HFSOs) across the country are fundraising for the Masroor Ahmad School in Alotenango, Guatemala, where more than 300 students learn today. Bake sales, charity dinners, and 5Ks all fund teachers, classrooms, books, and supplies.

Who we are

A platform for students to work with communities affected by disaster, poverty, and hardship. And to become tomorrow’s leaders while doing it.

What we run

Four national programs. One network behind all of them.

Chapters are the base. On top of them, the Student Division runs free tutoring, medical missions, and the national leadership pipeline.

Gift of Health, 2025

Six missions. 4,014 patients.

Student teams worked patient registration, vitals, and pharmacy alongside physicians at free clinics in Guatemala and Mexico, for communities with limited access to care.

HFSD Workspace

Every task has an owner. From the national board to every chapter.

The Student Division’s own task and team app: sign in with Google, assign and track work, get an email notice when something is yours, and keep a private workspace for your chapter.

The national footprint

One organization. Campuses everywhere.

Every HFSO is a student-run chapter of Humanity First USA, registered at a high school, university, or graduate school in one of three regions. Choose a region, tap a state, or select a campus.

Sorva

Our student sponsor

Meet Sorva. A student-run company backing HFSD.

Sorva is a student-run health technology company and a sponsor of the Student Division. Its platform connects patients, practices, specialists, and payers so every care order is followed until the visit happens, and its assistant, Soar by Sorva, lets patients find and book care by text.

Illustrative example of how Sorva connects care.
